Q. When can we have access to our container?
A. 24 hour access is available at all of our sites so you can come and go as you please.
Q. Do I have to bring my own padlock?
A. No, unlike many other Storage Companies we supply you with our ultra strong, anti tamper CISA 66 padlocks free of charge
Q. Is there a minimum hire period?
A. No. You only pay for the time you use your Self Storage unit. All we ask is you pay for your unit in advance every month. When your key and fob are returned any unused days are refunded as is the deposit for your key fob.
Q. Are your units weatherproof and dry?
A. Yes. Our newbuild steel units are secured against all weather conditions. They were built to survive the worlds harshest conditions at sea so theres nothing better or stronger.
Q. Do the containers suffer from condensation?
A. Our modern containers have fewer issues compared to older flat-roof containers. However, since containers are unheated, condensation can occur when temperatures drop and moisture is present. To prevent this, it's recommended to store dry items in the container on a dry day.
Q. Will my goods be insured?
A. We ask that you make your own insurance arrangements however we will be introducing our own StoreProtect policy in May 2025.
Q. What happens if I want to move out earlier than I previously anticipated?
A. There is no minimum hire period. We only ask that you pay in advance, monthly. You can give notice to leave using our online portal so no phone calls or write notice required.
Q. How secure are your units?
A. All of our containers are constructed from Corten 'A' Steel and protected by ultra strong CISA 66 locks and 24 hr CCTV.
